Antique French Napoleon III glass dome

Lovely ebonised wood and hand blown oval glass dome, called Globe de Mariée. Originally these globes would have been contained and preserved a display of wedding souvenirs (the tradition started in the 1800’s). Nowadays you can display various items or statues and would look fabulous.
