A remarkable antique writing table crafted in mahogany, also known as a bonheur du jour, originating from England and estimated to be from the 1930s. This piece boasts exceptional craftsmanship and intricate details. It features an inset brown leather writing surface with three drawers below it. Additionally, the upper back section contains four smaller drawers, a locking cabinet, and six open pigeon holes. The table is adorned with a pie crust edge on the back gallery and stands elegantly on turned and fluted legs. While designed to be placed against a wall, the polished back allows it to be showcased as a standalone piece of furniture."
