- Photographs showing any damage or wear

- Your suburb and contact details

General photographs are especially helpful because they allow us to assess the overall contents and determine whether we are the right people for the job before arranging the next steps.

Deceased Estates, Downsizing and House Contents

Moonee Ponds Antiques has more than 40 years of experience assisting Melbourne families with deceased estates, downsizing, relocations and larger collections of household contents.

We understand that sorting through a home can be emotional and overwhelming. Our team provides respectful, practical assistance and honest advice based on decades of experience buying and selling antiques.

For larger estates or house contents, please begin by emailing general photographs of each room and the main items. This helps us understand the size and nature of the collection and determine how we may be able to assist.

Items We Generally Do Not Purchase

Please note that we generally do not buy:

- General modern second-hand household goods

- Modern sofas and couches

- Modern lounge suites

- Flat-pack furniture

- Modern mattresses or bedding

- Heavily damaged furniture with limited resale value
