About the Artist
John Flexmore was born in Victoria in 1911 and studied at the National Gallery School in Melbourne. Following wartime service, he painted primarily in watercolour and held solo exhibitions at Melbourne’s Athenaeum Gallery. His work is represented in private collections in Australia and overseas.
