An oil painting titled "The Cricket Match" in a lovely gold gilt frame, signed on the front and back, and in excellent condition. Would make a lovely addition to any collection. Size of painting not including frame is 30cm x 40cm. D'Arcy W. Doyle (1932–2001) was a 20th-century Australian painter known for painting depictions of Australia that evoke nostalgic memories of his homeland. He was born in Ipswich in 1932, and started painting with no formal training, simply learning by drawing from observation and recreating the work of local signwriters.
