Good quality well proportioned and genuine late 19th Century antique French solid Mahogany Writing Desk in the elegant and popular classic Louis XVI revival manner. The front side with its real drawers, gilt metal trim, is duplicated on the rear / back side with faux drawers. It has elegant turned, tapered and fluted legs, quality brass drawer pull handles fitted to the front drawers and the rear faux drawers. Insert leather top. In good restored condition.
