A rare circa 1920s entomology specimen and collector’s cabinet, constructed in finely grained golden timber attributed to Huon pine and fitted with forty shallow glazed drawers arranged across two banks.

Each drawer pulls fully out and has its own lift-up glass top, allowing specimens and collectables to be viewed while helping protect them from dust and handling. Twin recessed metal cup pulls and central label holders add practical appeal and authentic museum character.

Designed for entomological or natural-history specimens, the cabinet would now also provide exceptional organised storage for minerals, coins, medals, jewellery, watches, textiles, documents, photographs, ephemera and other treasured collections.

Condition
